Who is Janis Joplin?

Janis Joplin is one of the most famous rock singers known for her melodious voice. She was born in Texas in 1943. She loved music from a very young age. Joplin started her music career performing in local coffee houses and bars. She used to sing while she was a school student.

When and how did she die?

Janis Joplin was found dead on October 3, 1970. She died at the age of 27, and her early death shocked all of her fans.

Her dead body was found in the Landmark Motor Hotel, California hotel room. She was in the hotel room after she performed at Harvard Stadium in Boston. The hotel room consists of bottles and drugs. She had a cigarette in her hand when they found her.

Her autopsy report also showed she died due to heroin. Her body was covered in needle marks

Even though people consider the death of Janis Joplin to be due to an overdose of drugs, the real fact behind the death is still a mystery. Her fans and close ones deny the facts of her death due to an overdose of drugs. Although she left us early on, she will remain a queen in our hearts.
