Yes Push Their Postponed Fragile UK Tour to May 2027.

Yes have officially postponed their planned UK “Fragile” tour, with the shows now being rescheduled to May 2027 following a major health setback within the band.

The tour was originally scheduled to run from April 22 to May 4, 2026, kicking off at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and concluding with two nights at the London Palladium. It was set to be a nine-date UK run, bringing their celebrated “Album Series” format back to British audiences.

However, those plans were abruptly put on hold after guitarist Steve Howe was forced to undergo essential surgery, requiring recovery time and making it impossible for him to perform.

In an official statement, the band explained the decision was made to ensure Howe could “return to the stage in full health” and deliver the level of performance fans expect.

The affected UK dates included major cities such as Glasgow, Sheffield, Liverpool, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Manchester, and London, all of which were listed as postponed with no immediate replacement dates at the time.

Now, the band has confirmed that the postponed shows are being moved to May 2027, giving Howe sufficient time to recover and the band time to properly relaunch the tour. Existing tickets will remain valid for the new dates, and fans have been advised to hold onto them.

The “Fragile” tour itself is built around the band’s iconic 1971 album Fragile, which they perform in full, alongside a selection of tracks spanning their career — from classic era material to more recent releases like Mirror to the Sky.

Despite the delay, the band emphasized that other planned shows later in 2026 remain unaffected, and they expressed gratitude for the continued patience and support from fans during this unexpected pause.

While the postponement was disappointing for many, the rescheduled 2027 dates now position the tour as a comeback moment — not just for the band, but for one of progressive rock’s most enduring live acts returning at full strength.
