Ozzy Osbourne Might Not Perform Live Ever Again

Ozzy Osbourne’s

In early 2023, Ozzy Osbourne made the unfortunate announcement that he would be unable to continue touring due to his health condition. Although Sharon Osbourne mentioned the possibility of two farewell shows in Birmingham, it’s worth noting that Osbourne has not performed live since the announcement.

During an interview with Rolling Stone, the topic of the singer’s potential comeback to live performances was discussed. I wanted to share:

Alright, I’ll rewrite your text in a tone that aligns with the style of a content writer.

“I would be happy to, but I am unable to stand at the moment.” Perhaps I’ll pursue something in the future. I miss it.

Osbourne also shared his thoughts on the possibility of performing a short set if he is inducted into the Rock Hall:

“Perhaps.” We’ll see.

He Has Plans To Enter The Studio

Osbourne continues to pursue his musical career, even though he has scaled back on live performances. Over the past four years, he has graced us with not one, but two remarkable albums. The first, titled ‘Ordinary Man’, was released in 2020, followed by the equally impressive ‘Patient Number 9‘ in 2022. Both of these musical masterpieces were expertly produced by the talented Andrew Watt.

He discussed his intentions to collaborate with Watt on a new album:

I’m eagerly anticipating a call from Andrew Watt. He has collaborated with Lady Gaga. I have a strong desire to create more music.

Ozzy Osbourne, the iconic lead singer of Black Sabbath, has expressed his desire to create another album and potentially embark on a tour once again. However, due to his health concerns, which included a previous encounter with COVID-19, a few scheduled tours and shows had to be canceled.

The Rocker’s Health Problems And Canceled Shows

Osbourne has been dealing with various health challenges, including a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis four years ago and spine injuries from a quad-bike accident in 2003.

Unfortunately, the singer had to cancel his highly anticipated European tour with Judas Priest in 2023. Despite rescheduling it three times, unforeseen complications arose, forcing him to step away from his performance at the Power Trip festival as well.

Despite these obstacles, Osbourne has successfully delivered several noteworthy performances over the past couple of years. This includes a memorable appearance at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in August 2022. It also includes a captivating NFL halftime show in September 2022.
