Guns N’ Roses kicked off their 2026 European tour with a major setlist surprise in Gilwice, Poland, on June 4, when they performed “Think About You” live for the first time in 20 years. Ultimate Classic Rock reports that the song had last been played on December 20, 2006, making the return a rare moment for longtime fans.
The track is one of the deeper cuts from Appetite for Destruction, and its return stood out even more because the band’s current lineup includes Slash and Duff McKagan, the last time the song had been played with them in the band dating back to March 29, 1987 at the Roxy in West Hollywood.
The Gilwice concert also included a handful of other notable setlist moments. Duff McKagan reportedly played “Neat Neat Neat” by the Damned as a live debut for his nightly spotlight slot, while “My Michelle,” “The General,” and “Sorry” were also added to the set. The night’s full 29-song set featured the usual stadium staples, but those rare inclusions made the opening night of the tour feel especially unpredictable.
The performance was also the beginning of a packed summer schedule. Guns N’ Roses’ European tour is set to run through July 3 in Paris, after which the band will launch its next North American tour on July 23 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
For extra background, the song itself has long been one of the band’s lesser-played Appetite cuts. In a 1988 interview, Izzy Stradlin described it as “a fast love song about drugs, sex, Hollywood and money,” while Axl Rose later said it was “Izzy wrote that one” and noted that he added a little of his own phrasing when recording it.
